The purpose of the Water Conservation & Landscape Plan is to reduce the use of water for landscaping while maintaining the beauty and esthetic value of landscape within Gold River Community Association's jurisdiction. The Water Conservation and Landscape Plan will be used to implement water conservation efforts and modify landscaping to meet the challenges of water conservation. The project covers all GRCA properties under irrigation. The plan will become a tool to guide the transformation of our current landscape to the landscape of the future. The Water Conservation & Landscape Plan is a living document and as such will undergo changes as GRCA Staff performs research and analysis. Please click here to access the full plan.
In 2010, the GRCA Board of Directors approved the new and improved plant list. Within this new list there are drought tolerant plant material that will thrive in Gold River's environment for years to come. The plant list offers more color and less maintenance shrubs, ground cover, vines and trees. Please take advantage of the new plant list and help make Gold River a more water conscious community.
