SACRAMENTO SHERIFF SERVICE CENTER CLOSURES

Effective Friday, July 23, 2010, the following Sacramento County Sheriff Community Service Centers will be closed:

Carmichael Service Center                                Fair Oaks/Orangevale Service Center

Carmichael, CA 95608                                    Fair Oaks, CA   95628

Northwest Service Center
2500 Marconi Avenue
Sacramento, CA  95821

The above Service Centers will be closing due to the County budget shortage which is unable to sustain the working operations of each center. 

Citizens are encouraged to utilize the North Area Service Center which will remain in full operating status.  The North Area Service Center is located at:

It is anticipated in the future limited resources will be available at the Sheriff’s North Area Patrol Station located at 5510 Garfield Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95841.  At this time, those resources do not exist.

Note from Sherrie:

We have brochures, recently purchased decals, stickers, and a small quantity of small NWS that are available to Coordinators.  During the week of July 19^th through July 23^rd, these items will be available on a first come, first take basis.  You must be a Coordinator to receive supplies and may take what you need.

VIPS will continue working in the community doing patrols, vacation watches and special assignments as needed. They will be working out of the North Service Center.

Our Office Manager Lilly Gardener and I are scheduled to be reassigned to Corrections.

I will certainly miss working with all of you.
