Four benches have been installed along the Gold River nature trails providing resting places for residents.  Laura Lapham, Senior Girl Scout in Tierra del Oro Girl Scout Troop 2016 and resident of Pioneer Village, proposed and coordinated the venture for her Girl Scout Gold project.  Laura will earn a Gold Award for her project.  The recycled plastic benches are four feet long and have been placed adjacent to the nature trail at four different points.  Gold River Board members performed a walkthrough with Laura to approve final placement of the benches. 

Silva Concrete cemented in the benches and GP Landscape cleared the area in preparation.  Both services were completed free of charge.  Thanks to everyone for their help with the project!
